Grand Designs Transformations on ABC and ABC iview S2E4 – In Brisbane, husband and wife duo Kristy and Oz set out to create a Turkish-inspired Queenslander. In Victoria, single dad Greg scrapes together a few thousand dollars to reimagine a decaying Aussie shed into a Zen Japanese bathhouse.
Professor of Architecture Anthony Burke and award-winning interior designer Yasmine Ghoniem follow two transformations at opposite ends of the spectrum.
While the projects differ in price, scale and style, both are united by one daunting ambition: to reinvent and breathe new life into old timber buildings.
