Tonight | Dustfall on ABC: Tig faces two cases and a link to Davo – Tig and Remi face a potential murder and a rape investigation as pressure builds on their already stretched team. A failed case returns to the foreground, and evidence begins to connect Davo’s death with Edie’s assault. It airs Sunday 18 October 2026 at 8:20pm on ABC, with streaming on ABC iview.

The second episode widens the investigation rather than offering an easy answer. With resources divided between cases and Tig pushing away her own past, each new lead comes with a cost for the people involved.

The investigations collide

Quinn makes it clear that Tig and Remi will have to spread limited resources across both the potential murder and the rape case. As news of Edie’s assault travels, Finn becomes the target of accusations. A DNA report reveals that three men raped Edie, complicating the search for those responsible. Davo’s death is linked to GHB, giving Tig a connection to Edie but no clear lead on the person known as Jack.

A failed case returns

Maya, whose rape case failed at trial, is now being sued for libel by her attacker. Her situation adds another dimension to the episode’s account of how allegations and investigations affect the people at their centre. Tig is also resisting the pull of her own complex past, even as the current cases demand her attention. The series keeps those personal and procedural pressures running together.
