Today | Flower and Flour on ABC Kids: Flower and her cat turn a buggy into art – Flower and her flour-made cat Flour return for a new run of imaginative neighbourhood adventures. It airs Monday 12 October 2026 at 7.45am on ABC Kids and ABC iview.

The children’s series uses small changes in its busy multicultural neighbourhood to explore how Flower handles friendship and feeling left out.

Episodes 31-35 of 39

Flower is seven and lives above her parents’ Austrian dumpling restaurant. Her best friend is Flour, a cheeky cat made of flour, and together they find stories in everyday events around the plaza.

When a golf buggy with no wheels is dumped nearby, the local children work together to turn the discarded object into art. Their project gives the neighbourhood a shared task.

Flower then decides that cats should no longer say meow, leading Flour to speak only in beeps. Cockatoo enjoys the new language, and Flower feels excluded as the two friends play together. The listing covers episodes 31 to 35 rather than one stand-alone instalment.
