Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job on ABC airs Thursday 3 September 2026 at 9.00pm. Tonight, Amanda Holden and Alan Carr turn their attention to the overgrown Tuscan garden.
The pair are still working on their one-euro house in Tuscany, but the project now moves outdoors. The garden has been untouched for more than a decade, leaving Amanda and Alan with a mountain-side challenge and very little local plant knowledge.
The episode keeps the renovation travel series in familiar territory: warm scenery, practical headaches and the easy back-and-forth between two friends trying to turn an old house into something liveable.
To get the garden moving, Amanda and Alan call on Warrie Price. He has spent more than 30 years cultivating a 15-acre oasis, so his advice gives the pair a better sense of what can survive in the Tuscan terrain.
The outdoor makeover adds a different rhythm to the season. Instead of walls, windows and rooms, the focus shifts to soil, plants and the bigger question of how the house will sit within its landscape.
What happens in Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job
Season 2, Episode 3 follows Amanda and Alan as they try to bring life back to the garden beside their 17th-century house.
The land is overgrown and difficult, but the pair want the outdoor space to feel like part of the Italian dream home they are building across the summer.
