ABC Dominates 2026 Logie Nominations With 41 Nods As Lisa Millar Returns To Gold Logie Race – The ABC has emerged as the most nominated television network at the 66th TV Week Logie Awards, securing an impressive 41 nominations across almost every category, including a second consecutive Gold Logie nomination for beloved presenter Lisa Millar.
Millar is once again in the running for the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television thanks to her work on Muster Dogs, Muster Dogs: Where Are They Now and Back Roads. She has also earned a nomination for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter alongside The Piano host Amanda Keller.
First Nations talent is strongly represented across the ABC’s nominations this year, led by Goolagong star Lila McGuire, who has been nominated for both the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent and the Silver Logie for Best Lead Actress in a Drama.
McGuire is joined in the Most Popular New Talent category by co-stars Eloise Hart (Goolagong, Mystery Road: Origin) and Andrea Lam (The Piano).
Leading the ABC’s individual programs is Mystery Road: Origin, which picked up five nominations, more than any other ABC production this year. The critically acclaimed series, written and directed entirely by First Nations creatives, is nominated for Best Drama Program, while stars Mark Coles-Smith, Tuuli Narkle and Clarence Ryan have all received acting nominations.
Other standout performers include Goolagong, The Piano, Dog Park, The Family Next Door, Austin and Muster Dogs, which each secured three nominations.
The ABC’s news and current affairs slate also received significant recognition, with Sarah Ferguson (7.30 and Australia Votes 2025: Election Night Live) and David Speers (Insiders and Australia Votes 2025: Election Night Live) both nominated for the Ray Martin Award for Most Popular News or Public Affairs Presenter.
Meanwhile, Australian Story, 7.30 and Four Corners are all in contention for Best Current Affairs Program, while Four Corners also received a nomination for Best News Coverage or Public Affairs Report for Hammered: Inside the Bunnings Machine.
In comedy, the ABC continued its strong showing with nominations for Celia Pacquola (Dog Park) and Denise Scott (Mother and Son) in Best Actress in a Comedy, while Leon Ford (Dog Park), Ben Miller and Michael Theo (Austin) are all up for Best Actor in a Comedy. Both Austin and Dog Park are also nominated for Best Scripted Comedy Program.
The broadcaster also dominated the Best Children’s Program category, claiming all five nominations with:

- Ginger and the Vegesaurs
- Hard Quiz Kids
- Knee High Spies
- Play School
ABC Screen Director Jennifer Collins said the nominations reflected the depth of talent across the broadcaster.

The winners of the 66th TV Week Logie Awards will be announced in Sydney on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
