SAS: AUS v ENG on Channel 7 S6E3 – he episode opens to find recruits in chaos as the DS continue their savage beasting that pushes recruits to breaking point.
Sweat pours, lungs burn, and discipline shatters, until one celebrity finally cracks, ripping off their armband and quitting on the spot. For the remaining twelve there’s little time to recover. The DS march them to a derelict housing complex and order a nerve-shredding escape drill: a single ladder, suspended fifteen metres above the ground, bridging two buildings. The twist?
They must cross it without using their hands, while under relentless fire from the enemy. Every step wobbles. Every expletive echoes across the compound. One recruit has forgotten to tie their shoe-lace while others topple in spectacular slow-motion, much to the DS’ disdain.
One recruit’s meltdown results in them being dragged into interrogation to answer for their performance. But the day is far from over. Under a blistering heat of over 38 degrees, the recruits face an extreme ammo resupply mission. Before the task even begins, they must trek the canyon floor for more than half an hour, heat radiating off the rocks like an oven door.
The gruelling head-to-head race to the mountain summit while hauling 100kg of awkward, unwieldy kit results in tempers boiling and teamwork fracturing. As bodies fail and patience snaps, the DS zero in on one recruit whose leadership skills are found wanting.
