First Dates airs tonight, Tuesday 1 September 2026, at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
First Dates returns with eight more singles taking a chance on a blind date, including former Married at First Sight bride Olivia as she looks for a nice guy.
The episode keeps the focus on the mix of nerves, chemistry and awkward honesty that makes the dating format work. With several pairings in play, tonight’s question is simple: who will want a second date, and who will leave disappointed?
First Dates Episode 9
Tonight’s episode features nurse Sadie on a date with Army veteran Nathan, whose family plans quickly become part of the conversation.
Samantha and Melody are described as two firecrackers, while Ally is hoping to move beyond friendship and meet the right match.
Narrated by Sam Mac, First Dates follows each blind date from the first meeting through to the end-of-night decision. The new series is set in a restaurant fitted with discreet cameras, capturing the funny, uncomfortable and heart-warming moments as they happen.
