Tonight | Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7: Graham visits a Japanese strolling garden – Better Homes and Gardens visits Edogawa Japanese Garden tonight, as Graham Ross explores a tranquil Central Coast escape inspired by traditional Japanese garden design.
What To Expect
Graham Ross travels to Gosford’s Edogawa Japanese Garden, a hidden oasis on the NSW Central Coast designed around the traditional shuyu, or strolling garden, style.
The garden covers more than 4000 square metres and features koi ponds, winding pathways, a Japanese pavilion and a traditional teahouse.
Dr Harry Cooper meets Raffie the golden retriever, whose owner Sandra believes the dog helped her through oesophageal cancer surgery and recovery. Harry works with Raffie on lead training so he can improve his therapy-dog prospects.
Colin Fassnidge puts a satay spin on barbecue pork ribs, serving them with roasted sweet potatoes, while Melissa King shares topiary tips inspired by Melbourne’s King of Topiary, Ick Chu.
Adam Dovile builds Tasmanian Oak coat hooks for winter layers, and Juliet Love turns storage racks into a bench seat and shoe storage solution for the end of the bed.
When To Watch
Saturday’s episode leans into the full Better Homes and Gardens mix, moving from gardening and food to pets, home organisation and hands-on DIY.
The Edogawa Japanese Garden segment gives the episode a strong visual centre, while the Raffie story adds the kind of personal animal-care angle that has long been part of the program’s appeal.
