The Voice semi final: eight artists chase Grand Finale spot on Channel 7 – The Voice reaches its 2026 semi final on Sunday at 7.00pm on Channel 7 and 7plus, with eight artists now one performance away from a place in the Grand Finale.
After the coaches cut their teams to two artists apiece, the semi final will decide which singer from each team advances to the final. Richard Marx, Melanie C, Ronan Keating and Kate Miller-Heidke each have a single Grand Finale position to award.
With the competition now moving from the coaches’ choices toward its deciding stage, the Sunday episode is the crucial final hurdle for artists who have spent weeks building their case to become Australia’s next Voice.
The Voice semi finalists
Team Richard Marx is represented by Tika Cetinich from Victoria and Tommy Novak from New South Wales. Melanie C’s team includes Taylor Beadle-Williams from New South Wales and Yung Milla from the Northern Territory.

Ronan Keating will take Leyla Sabo from Victoria and South Australia’s The 60Four into the semi final. Defending champion coach Kate Miller-Heidke rounds out the field with Charlotte June from South Australia and Daisha Auda from Queensland.
The episode brings together a notably varied group of performers, from Yung Milla’s rap-led performances to 12-year-old Leyla’s vocal showcases, alongside harmony group The 60Four, rock performer Tika, pop ballad specialist Charlotte June, Taylor, Tommy and Daisha.

One place per coach in the Grand Finale
The pressure is at its highest point yet: each coach can take only one artist through. That means the semi final will send four acts into the Grand Finale, where Australia will ultimately decide the winner of The Voice 2026.
The Voice semi final airs at 7.00pm Sunday on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.
