The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins on Channel 7 premieres this June — Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe team up for a brand-new comedy series, The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins, arriving on Seven and 7plus later this month.
The series stars Morgan (30 Rock) as Reggie Dinkins, a former NFL superstar whose life takes an unexpected turn after a gambling scandal leads to a lifetime ban from professional football.
After accidentally betting on his own team, the New York Jets, Reggie finds himself at the centre of a media storm, stripped of his status and searching for a way to rebuild his reputation.
An unlikely partnership
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) co-stars as award-winning filmmaker Arthur Tobin, who sees an opportunity in documenting Reggie’s attempt at redemption.
As Arthur follows Reggie’s efforts to reclaim his public image, the pair form an unlikely partnership that quickly becomes far more complicated than either expected.
Joining Morgan and Radcliffe is an ensemble cast featuring Erika Alexander (Living Single), Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live), Precious Way (Queens) and Jalyn Hall.
Behind the scenes, the comedy boasts an impressive creative team. The series is co-showrun, written and executive produced by Robert Carlock and Sam Means, with Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Eric Gurian and David Miner also serving as executive producers.
Blending sharp comedy with a comeback story full of unexpected twists, The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins promises plenty of laughs when it makes its Australian debut.
The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins premieres Wednesday, 24 June, streaming from 6.00pm on 7plus
