Recap | Kisses, Clashes And Shock Farewells Rock Farmer Wants A Wife – Emotions ran high and relationships were tested on tonight’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife, with double dates, surprise departures and one bombshell elimination leaving the farms reeling.
The farmers received a surprise message from host Natalie Gruzlewski, instructing them to each select two ladies for a double date before making the difficult decision to send one person home.
With only two women left on his farm, Jason decided to skip the double date altogether and instead invited Logan for a round of golf, giving the pair valuable one-on-one time.
Ahead of his double date with Cara and Carly, Jarrad admitted he was still torn between the two women.
“Cara’s a very attractive woman, she’s very headstrong and I’m attracted to that. Carly’s definitely wife material. I’m just a little bit unsure if it’s still gonna build into something that I’m looking for.”
Jarrad
Meanwhile, Alex’s growing connection with Eddy had him thinking about a future together.
“Every day I wake up excited to see Eddy. She’s totally swept me off my feet.”
Alex
However, Eddy was left questioning their relationship after learning about Alex’s romantic kiss with Suzannah on their previous solo date.
Despite her concerns, Eddy was thrilled when Alex invited her and Gabbie on the double date, while Gabbie couldn’t ignore the chemistry between the pair.
Dylan selected Lily and Ally for his double date, hoping to strengthen both relationships. After the date, he pulled Ally aside for a private conversation that ended with a passionate kiss, leaving him more conflicted than ever.
“There’s something about her that instead of thinking straight, I just kind of blur out and then I just settle for whatever she reckons. I’m struggling a bit with Ally in that regard.”
Dylan
At Zac’s farm, tensions continued to simmer following the ladies’ meeting with his twin sister, Izzy. Miranda and Maya’s relationship deteriorated further, prompting Zac to invite both women on the double date to address the growing issues.
Confident in her position, Miranda told Zac she was there solely for him and urged him to keep giving their relationship a chance.
The episode’s farewells delivered several shocks. Sensing the strong bond between Alex and Eddy, Gabbie chose to leave the farm, sparing Alex from having to make the decision himself.
Jarrad also made his choice, saying goodbye to Cara after rediscovering his spark with Carly.
The mood then turned icy on Dylan’s farm when Lily discovered he had kissed Ally during their date.
“It was sneaky and I don’t like it. That’s not something I would personally do to another girl on a double date.”
Lily
A disappointed Lily decided to leave, but not before warning Dylan about Ally, leaving him visibly rattled.
The night’s biggest shock came during Zac’s farewell dinner. After witnessing Miranda’s continued passive-aggressive behaviour towards Maya, Zac made the stunning decision to send front-runner Miranda home.
“Seeing Miranda say that at the table, it was sort of the nail in the coffin. Miranda was passive aggressive towards Maya, and I just don’t agree with how things were going about.”
Zac
Tomorrow night, the drama continues as the farmers’ nearest and dearest introduce brand-new women they believe could be the perfect match, setting the stage for even more emotional upheaval.
Farmer Wants A Wife continues at 7.30pm Monday on Seven and 7plus.
