Simone and Viviana bring passion to the plate on MKR
Meet Simone and Viviana: best friends bringing passion, fashion, and flair to the kitchen when MKR launches on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Based in Queensland, but originally from Italy, Simone and Viviana want to serve Australia “style, class and modern Italian with a twist.”
Simone describes himself as “an adventurous cook, taking old classics and innovating them in new ways.”
Viviana recalls the first dish she ever prepared was“gnocchi alla romana with my grandma.”
With Simone’s catchphrase “tell me everything,” these modern Italians have very firm views on pineapple on pizza: it’s a hard no.
Both admit they cannot live without pasta and that food, family and friends are inseparable.
MKR features co-hosts and judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge travelling across the country to meet Australia’s most passionate home cooks: real people, cooking real food, in their own homes.
