The House of Wellness season 4 returns to Channel 7 with new-look lineup – The House of Wellness season 4 will premiere on Tuesday, September 15 at 9.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus, with Mel Doyle and Shane Crawford joined by two new faces on the couch.
The new season brings GP and preventative health advocate Dr Michela Sorensen into the panel, alongside comedian Sam Taunton. Together, they join Doyle and Crawford for a refreshed format built around practical health conversations, celebrity guests and the show’s familiar lighter touch.
For Channel 7, the return keeps a long-running lifestyle and wellbeing brand in a late-night slot where it can mix entertainment, health information and personality-led conversation. The new panel also gives the season a clearer balance between expert medical perspective and comedy.
New faces join the couch
Season four will lean into health and wellbeing topics affecting Australians, ranging from everyday issues to more personal stories.
Dr Michela Sorensen will bring medical insight to the discussion, including her own experience with oral cancer at age 34. The season will also explore asthma, with Taunton and Crawford comparing very different personal experiences with the condition.
Taunton will step into a new segment, Sam Splainer, using his own search history as a way into health questions and expert explanations from Dr Sorensen.
