A new look at Wicker
The new clip puts Alexander Skarsgård’s unusual character at the centre of the campaign. Roadshow continues to introduce the “husband made entirely of wicker” at the heart of the new comedy.
For cinema audiences, Wicker combines an acclaimed cast with an offbeat premise. The clip offers another look at a seaside village and its fantastical romantic arrangement.

The story and cast
Olivia Colman plays a fisherwoman who delivers the food her village relies on. The villagers barely tolerate her cantankerous presence. Then they name her as the next person to wed.
She is tired of their disdain. Therefore, she asks the local Basketmaker to weave her the perfect husband. Peter Dinklage plays the Basketmaker, while Alexander Skarsgård plays the husband he creates.
Jealousies flare when the village meets its newest resident. As a result, the arrangement becomes increasingly complicated.
Wicker also stars Elizabeth Debicki. Eleanor Wilson and Alex Fischer direct the film.
When to watch
Wicker opens in Australian and New Zealand cinemas on 5 November 2026.
