World Aquatics Championships Fukuoka on Channel 9 Day 2 Schedule

World Aquatics Championships Fukuoka on Channel 9 – Following Australia’s most successful day at a swimming world championships in history the Australian Dolphins are back on the hunt for more Gold tonight at Fukuoka from 9.00pm exclusive, live and free on the 9Network and 9Now.

Ariarne Titmus set the tone by smashing the world record on the way to one of four gold medals for Australia and tonight on Day 2 Australia’s fast females feature again.

Emma McKeon is gunning for her second gold after last night’s 100m relay success when she tackles the 100m butterfly final, while underdog Jenna Forrester will dig deep in the 200m Individual Medley final from lane six.

World record holder Kaylee McKeown will set her path to glory in the women’s 100m backstroke semi finals where she is joined by Madi Wilson.

In the men’s events Romanian superstar David Popovici lines up for the 200m freestyle semi finals after cruising through the heats today, while Australia’s Alex Graham will also push for a spot in the final.

In commentary for Nine’s Wide World of Sports will be swimming legends Ian Thorpe, Giaan Rooney and Ellie Cole, joined by race caller Mat Thompson and host Nick McArdle. Poolside in Fukuoka is reporter Tom Decent for post race reaction.
