Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 330 000 and an average audience lead of 249 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 237 000 (833 000). The 1% Club UK was #4 with 1 290 000 (685 000). The Front Bar was #12 with 1 015 000 (466 000). Talking Footy aired at 9:30pm in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and at 11:00pm in Sydney and Brisbane and was #30 with 532 000 (191 000). Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera aired in the reverse order across the markets and was #43 with 342 000 (120 000).

The Chase Australia won in reach audience but lost in average audience against Tipping Point Australia.

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 399 000 (945 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars was #9 with 1 213 000 (411 000). Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators was #21 with 690 000 (281 000).

The Project was #16 with 912 000 (358 000). I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! was #6 with 1 270 000 (673 000). A new episode of FBI: International was #17 with 811 000 (252 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 151 000 (671 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 913 000 (679 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #14 with 942 000 (617 000). White Fever was #26 with 589 000 (282 0000). QI was #39 with 380 000 (233 000).

  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.218 million and a Total TV National Audience of 662,000 – representing a 41.2% timeslot lift when compared to the corresponding day last year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news service and the No. 1 Program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.808 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.063 million and a BVOD audience of 71,000 (up 51.1%  year-on-year). The Melbourne bulletin, hosted by Alicia Loxley & Tom Steinfort, was 35,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor, while the Brisbane bulletin, hosted by Andrew Lofthouse & Melissa Downes, was 33,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor.
  • A Current Affair was Australia’s No. 1 program at 7.00pm with a National Total TV Reach of 1.399 million and a Total TV National Audience of 945,000. It recorded a BVOD audience of 62,000 on 9Now – up 47.6% on the same night last year. It was also a dominant timeslot winner in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
  • Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars achieved a Total TV National Audience of 411,000.
  • Today secured a National Total TV Reach of 794,000 and was the No. 1 breakfast program in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Its BVOD audience of 32,000 on 9Now was up 39.1% on the same morning last year.
     
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD service with Total People and all key demographics.
     

The 9Network was No.1 on Wednesday across the key demographics People 25-54 and People 16-39.

Last Night, I’m A Celebrity Was #1 In 16 to 39s.

Season-to-date, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is reaching 6.9 million Australians. The season is averaging a VOZ total audience of 871,000, which is UP 5% on the 2023 series.

Last night, Robert Irwin and Julia Morris had the difficult task of breaking up our little jungle family, revealing that Denise Drysdale was the first celebrity to bid farewell to the jungle.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Wednesday, 10 April):

  • 1.27 million total national viewers reached.
  • #1 show in 16 to 39s.
  • #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s.
  • #1 7.30pm show.
  • #1 in its timeslot with dominating shares.
  • 32.5% commercial share in 16 to 39s and 32% in 25 to 54s.
  • Biggest live stream audience ever.
  • 42,000 live stream viewers, up 56% on the same episode last year.

10 was up 7% week-on-week with 10 News First was up 11% week-on-week, Deal Or No Deal up 12%, and The Project up 8%.

Last week, with 7-day viewing, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Wednesday, 3 April) reached 1.53 million total national viewers and was the #1 show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
