Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 211 000 and an average audience lead of 194 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 219 000 (809 000). The 1% Club UK was #3 with 1 485 000 (763 000). The Front Bar was #11 with 1 163 000 (557 000). Talking Footy was #27 with 556 000 (202 000). Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera was #40 with 369 000 (126 000).

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 388 000 (880 000). RBT was #8 with 1 267 000 (524 000). The Texas Cheerleader Murder Plot was #12 with 1 159 000 (304 000).

The Project was #17 with 881 000 (381 000). MasterChef Australia was #7 with 1 346 000 (651 000). FBI: International was #16 with 899 000 (265 000).

  • Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 848,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 358,000. It was the No. 1 breakfast program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney & Melbourne. Its BVOD audience of 33,000 on 9Now was up 36.3% on the same morning last year.
     
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin and the No. 1 Program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of  1.915 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.176 million (up 10.4% on the same night last year). Its BVOD audience of 74,000 was up 51% on the same night last year. In Melbourne, the bulletin hosted by Alicia Loxley & Tom Steinfort was 58,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor.
     
  • Tipping Point continues its dominance as Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show, winning the timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.  It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.363 million and a Total TV National Audience of 718,000 – representing a massive 61.9% timeslot lift when compared to the same day last year.
     
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.388 million and a Total TV National Audience of 880,000. It recorded a BVOD audience of 55,000 on 9Now – up 29.3% year-on-year.

Last night, the contestants cooked for immunity in a team challenge at the iconic Queen Victoria Night Market in Melbourne.

  • Up 15% week-on-week.
  • Up 31% in under 50s, 22% in 16 to 39s and 19% in 25 to 54s week-on-week.
  • #1 in its timeslot with huge commercial shares.
  • Highest share of the season in under 50s with 34.7%!
  • Huge share in 16 to 39s with 35.2%!
  • Lifted 10’s timeslot 164% year-on-year.
  • Live stream viewers up 37% compared with the same episode last year.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever! 161,000 live stream viewers up 46% compared with 2023 series average.

There were also week-on-week lifts for Network 10 (10, 10 Bold, 10 Peach, Nickelodeon) across primetime.

  • 10 News First was up 7%.
  • The Project was up 39%.
  • Network 10 was up 16%.
  • 10 was up 20%.
  • 10 Bold was up 11%.
  • Nickelodeon was up 8%.

Last week, MasterChef Australia (Wednesday 24 April) saw a 35% lift with 7-day viewing climbing to 1.26 million total national viewers and was the #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
