Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 202 000 and an average audience lead of 175 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #13 with 914 000 (621 000) across 7 and 7two. Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Pre Match was #31 with 544 000 (258 000) across 7 and 7mate. Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football was #3 with 1 794 000 (598 000) across 7 and 7mate. even’s AFL: Thursday Night Football Post Match was #37 with 428 000 (195 000) across 7 and 7mate.

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly was #22 with 671 000 (269 000) across 7 and 7mate. America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League was #40 with 395 000 (93 000) across 7 and 7mate.

The Chase Australia led in reach but lost in average audience to Tipping Point Australia.

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #10 with 1 007 000 (660 000). Thursday Night NRL Live – Pre Match was #18 with 716 000 (313 000) across 9 and 9Gem. Thursday Night NRL Live was #4 with 1 650 000 (721 000) across 9 and 9Gem. Thursday Night NRL Live – Post Match was #17 with 718 000 (258 000).

The Project was #14 with 833 000 (321 000). I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! was #6 with 1 206 000 (635 000). Gogglebox was #7 with 1 158 000 (603 000). A repeat of Law and Order: SVU was #19 with 693 000 (195 000).

  • Thursday Night NRL Live was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 16-39 and the No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39 in Sydney and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 program with Total People in Brisbane and the No. 2 program with Total People in Sydney. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.650 million and a Total TV National Audience of 721,000 – up 39% on the same night last year. Its BVOD audience of 87,000 was up 79.4% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news service in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.812 million. It was also the No. 1 program with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. The combined bulletins recorded a Total TV National Audience of 1.075 million (up 9% on the same night last year) and a BVOD audience of 70,000 (up a massive 79.5% on the same night last year).
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot in Sydney and Melbourne. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.007 million and a Total TV National Audience of 660,000. Its BVOD audience of 44,000 on 9Now was up 25.4% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was once again Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show, as well as winning the slot in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.144 million and a Total TV National Audience of 631,000 – representing a 46.4% timeslot lift when compared to the corresponding day last year.
  • Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 814,000 and was the No. 1 breakfast program in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Its BVOD audience was 31,000 – up 34.8% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was No. 1 on Thursday across the 5 City Metro with the key demographics of People 25-54 and People 16-39.

9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD service with Total People and all key demographics.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Gogglebox Top Two Entertainment Shows In 25 to 54s And 16 to 39s.

Last night, Candice Warner and Tristan MacManus won the Jungle Day SPA-AAAH! challenge for Team Julia!

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Gogglebox were the most popular entertainment shows in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. Both were #1 in their timeslots in 25 to 54s.

10’s prime time programming was up across the board, with Deal Or No Deal up 21% week-on-week, The Project up 28%, I’m A Celebrity up 29% and Gogglebox up 28%.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Thursday, 4 April):

  • 1.21 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 29% week-on-week.
  • Up 33% in 25 to 54s week-on-week, 27% in under 50s and 13% in 16 to 39s.
  • #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #1 in its timeslot in under 50s and 25 to 54s.
  • 35,000 live stream viewers, up 47% on the same episode last year.

Gogglebox (Thursday, 4 April):

  • 1.16 million total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest overnight audience of 2024.
  • Up 28% week-on-week.
  • Up 35% in 16 to 39s week-on-week, 31% in 25 to 54s and 27% in under 50s.
  • #2 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #1 in its timeslot in under 50s and 25 to 54s.
  • Live stream viewers up 196% on the same episode last year.

Channel 10 was up 15% week-on-week and Network 10 was up 14%.

Last week, with 7-day viewing, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Thursday, 28 March) reached 1.45 million total national viewers, and Gogglebox reached 1.18 million.
