Watching You on Stan trailer – Stan today released the trailer for the Stan Original Watching You, a six-part psychological thriller inspired by J.P. Pomare’s novel, The Last Guests. The series premieres October 3.
Watching You centres on thrill-seeking paramedic Lina (Aisha Dee) and the fallout of a single decision which threatens to upend her life. Though happily engaged to Cain (Chai Hansen), a chance encounter with mysterious stranger Dan (Josh Helman) triggers Lina’s desire and culminates in a passionate one-night stand in a WeStay property.
In the aftermath, Lina discovers that the affair has been captured by a hidden camera and is blackmailed with the footage. Amid mounting threats and paranoia, she sets out to unmask an insidious voyeur, only to realise that the threat is closer and more dangerous than she could have imagined.
Alongside Aisha Dee stars Josh Helman (Mad Max: Fury Road), Chai Hansen (Stan Original Population 11), Laura Gordon (Stan Original Hotel Cocaine), Olivia Vásquez (Sloth Lane) and Luke Cook (Stan Original Good Cop/Bad Cop). The cast also includes Sara Wiseman (Territory), Mark Paguio (Spiderhead), Willow Speers (Strife), and Benjamin Wang (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
Watching You is adapted for television by creators Alexei Mizin and Ryan van Dijk, produced by Lingo Pictures’ Jason Stephens (Stan Original Series Prosper) and Bree-Anne Sykes (Stan Original Series Critical Incident), and executive produced by Lingo Pictures’ Helen Bowden (Stan Original Series Prosper).
