Stan today released the action-packed trailer starring Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore in its latest Original series, The Assassin.
The trailer sees retired assassin Julie (Keeley Hawes) and her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore) amidst high-stake drama and thrilling action as they are forced to flee an idyllic Greek island when Julie’s dangerous past catches up with her. With questions around Edward’s paternity and Julie’s past life as a hit-woman, the pair go on the run across Europe, working together in a fight for survival.
The Stan Original series The Assassin premieres July 25, only on Stan.

Telling the story of Michael and Diana’s love affair, the series is set against the disintegration of Michael’s crime gang. For years, with his friend Ronnie (Bean), Michael has successfully been bringing cocaine into the city and beyond, directly from Columbia. But when a shipment goes missing, he knows their Kingdom is under attack.

The Hunting Wives, an adaption of May Cobb’s novel, stars Brittany Snow as Sophie who moves her family from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she meets socialite Margo (Malin Åkerman). Sophie falls for her charm and finds herself consumed by obsession, seduction and murder. Also stars Dermot Mulroney, Jamie Ray Newman, Katie Lowes and Chrissy Metz.
