One More Shot on Stan for October – It’s New Year’s Eve, 1999. Y2K is nigh and Minnie discovers a time-travelling bottle of tequila that will change the course of her millennium.
A fresh, funny and nostalgic throwback to the 1990s, the trailer for the Stan Original One More Shot has been released today, ahead of its premiere on October 12, only on Stan.
When Minnie Vernon (Emily Browning) realises there’s something missing from her life, she wonders if it might be her on-again-off-again flame Joe (Sean Keenan), who’s back from New York to ring in the new millennium with their closest friends. Armed with a mysterious bottle of tequila, Minnie arrives at a swanky beach house, only to discover that Joe’s brought his new girlfriend (Aisha Dee).
Minnie takes a shot of tequila and is suddenly transported back in time to the moment she first arrived at the party.
She soon realises she has a bottle’s worth of chances to win Joe’s heart and start her millennium right. But as she tries to rewrite the night, things quickly spiral out of control and no matter what she does or how many times she resets, she can’t escape herself.
Led by Emily Browning (American Gods), the cast also includes Aisha Dee (Stan Original Watching You), Sean Keenan (Stan Original Exposure), Hamish Michael (The Twelve), Anna McGahan (Darby and Joan), Contessa Treffone (Stan Original Totally Completely Fine), with Pallavi Sharda (Wedding Season) and Ashley Zukerman (Succession).
