He Had It Coming on Stan trailer – Stan today released the trailer for the Stan Original He Had It Coming, a feisty feminist comedy-drama series from Jungle Entertainment.

The series follows mismatched friends who become embroiled in on-campus gender politics and murder, premiering November 20, only on Stan.

A comedic whodunnit, He Had It Coming sees two women accidentally entangle themselves in a murder mystery after their spontaneous feminist art activism is co-opted by a killer. Barbara (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) is a fashion influencer who champions #girlpower online but prefers parties over protests.

While Elise (Lydia West) is an awkward English exchange student determined to reinvent herself as a one-woman Pussy Riot, but is terrified of getting in trouble. After a chance meeting in art class and a shared frustration with the men in their lives, they form an unlikely alliance and spearhead a ‘Kill All Men’ art project.

Drunk as skunks in the dead of night, the girls deface a statue of the university’s male founder in the quadrangle.

By morning, the campus’s star athlete is found murdered and displayed at the foot of their political statement.

Barbara and Elise must urgently erase all evidence connecting them to the crime as Detective Shepherd (Liv Hewson) is hot on their heels. As gender tensions escalate on campus with a growing male body count, the girls are forced to uncover the real culprit, all whilst attempting to stop the gender riot they unintentionally created before it turns into a full-blown gender war.

He Had It Coming stars Lydia West (Big Mood, It’s a Sin), Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Ahsoka: Star Wars, The Voyeurs) who are also executive producers, and Liv Hewson (Yellowjackets, Bombshell) with ensemble cast Duncan Fellows (Deadloch), Roxie Mohebbi (Stan Original Critical Incident), Tom Dawson (Total Control), Alex Champion de Crespigny (Heartbreak High), Miah Madden (The Sapphires) and Cody Simpson (Cougar Town, Smiley Face Killers) in his first Australian scripted series.

From executive producer Gretel Vella (Stan Original Totally Completely Fine, The Great), with Chloe Rickard (Stan Original Population 11, No Activity), Shay Spencer (Wakefield), Bridget Callow (Stan Original Population 11), Robert Taylor, and Ellie Gibbons.
