From The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and 60 Minutes’ highly acclaimed investigative journalist Nick McKenzie, and award-winning journalist Chris Masters (the only Australian reporter to be embedded with Australian Special forces), Ben Roberts-Smith Truth On Trial traces the origins of their groundbreaking and controversial reports in 2018 and the subsequent stories on 60 Minutes, to Ben Roberts-Smith taking them to court in Australia’s biggest defamation trial.
The onus of proving the truth is on McKenzie and Masters. Soldiers are subpoenaed to testify and break their code of silence. With everything on the line, the truth is laid bare.
