Bloodlands (season two)

When an expensive car is pulled from the sea, veteran Northern Ireland police detective Tom Brannick (James Nesbitt) instantly sees the connection to an infamous cold case that holds enormous personal significance for him, involving a long-buried series of mysterious disappearances. His obsessive campaign to identify and unmask the semi-mythical figure behind these events leads him to a figure code-named Goliath. It’s a case that comes from Tom’s, and his country’s, dark past.

A Criminal Affair (series one)

A Criminal Affair tells the tragic story of a mother who has spent 15 years trying to exonerate her son who was incarcerated for a murder he didn’t commit. It’s also the story of a Major Crimes Unit detective who always suspected that someone close to him was involved in the killing but had remained silent.

Stars Céline Bonnier, Louis Philippe Dandenault and Maxime-Olivier Potvin.

A Criminal Affair will air at a later date on SBS. This series will be available in French Canadian and English with English subtitles.

With a looming Brexit vote wreaking havoc across the British political landscape, tensions are high for activist Matthew Collins (Stephen Graham) and his advocacy group Hope Not Hate, who fear a violent, racist campaign from the British far-right. And when several Islamist-related terrorist attacks rip through the British public in 2017, right-wing extremist group, National Action, sense an opportunity.

Carmen Curlers is inspired by actual events that began in 1963, when the entrepreneur Axel (Morten Hee Andersen) stumbled upon an invention: the electric curler. A revolutionary invention with a potential to liberate women with an easy, quick, and cheap way to get curly hair in ten minutes instead of hours at the salon.

There will be no shortage of great chats and food on The Cook Up with Adam welcoming some new faces and old friends. Adam will be joined by culinary stars such as Hetty McKinnon, Elizabeth Chong, O Tama Carey, Gabriel Gaté, Ben Shewry, Julia Busuttil Nishimura, and Colin Fassnidge; as well as legends in the world of sports, entertainment and social media such as Paralympic medalist Col Pearse, Zan Rowe, Harley Breen, Collette Dinnigan, Peking Duk’s Reuben Styles, Joel The Butcher and Vincent Lim aka Dim Sim Lim.

Adam also cooks alongside some of the finest upcoming and established chefs whilst having fascinating discussions with the most interesting journalists and personalities from all around the country. Of course, just like any good dinner host should – Adam has

welcomed some friends back to carry on the cooking and conversation such as Danielle Alvarez, Myf Warhurst, Rosheen Kaul and Craig Quartermaine.

A thrilling retelling of the classic set in the American Wild West of the 1860s and 1870s is brough to life in this gritty French and Italian production.

Sarah (Lisa Vicari) and John (Nicholas Pinnock) have founded New Babylon, a city of outcasts, full of men and women of all backgrounds, races, and creeds, that welcomes everyone with open arms. Haunted by the murder of his family eight years earlier, Django (Matthias Shoenaerts) is still looking for his daughter, believing she may have survived. He is shocked to find her in New Babylon, about to marry John. But Sarah, now a grown woman, wants Django to leave, as she fears he will put New Babylon in jeopardy if he stays. Django, believing the city is in danger, is adamant that he will not lose his daughter twice.

Django will air at a later date on SBS. Double episodes will become available on SBS On Demand weekly starting Thursday, 23 February midnight.

The Chosen Ones (series one)
