Stars gather at Primeville Sweet Spot at SXSW Sydney – Today, Primeville Sweet Spot at SXSW Sydney welcomed stars from Prime Video’s most popular movies and series to a first-of-its-kind event in Australia. The Office cast Felicity Ward, Josh Thomson, Jonny Brugh, and Zoe Terakes, enjoyed a watercooler chat over a tiramisu in the Flinley Craddick kitchen, and in pursuit of the perfect pout, Hayu’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Whitney Rose and Heather Gay, headed for a bespoke lip application in the glam zone, alongside Captain Jason Chambers from Hayu’s Below Deck Down Under.

Lincoln Younes proved why he’s the Last King of The Cross serving up jelly shots*, while cricketers Meg Lanning and Pat Cummins had a drinks break in the Chill Out Zone. Alicia Gardiner, Nina Oyama and Leah Purcell from Amazon Original hits Deadloch and The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart were also seen exploring Primeville Sweet Spot, which includes The Forge from Middle-earth from Prime Video’s biggest hit, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Lily Bloom’s famous flower shop from It Ends With Us,and a zone for the Minions from Despicable Me 4, to enjoy a delicious banana macaron.

“At Prime Video, we obsess over connecting millions of entertainment lovers with the widest selection of content, and today we are proud to bring the biggest and most popular streaming partners and stars together in an Australian first to celebrate the breadth of content available on Prime Video,”

– said Hwei Loke, head of Prime Video Australia and New Zealand.

At Primeville Sweet Spot, Australian Men’s Cricket Captain Pat Cummins was also announced as a Prime Video Ambassador. “It’s incredibly exciting to be able to extend the relationship with Prime Video beyond cricket and The Test documentary series,” he said. “Diving into a new show or movie – whether binging Clarkson’s Farm, and the All or Nothing sport documentary franchise series, renting or buying a new film, or watching live sports – is one of my favourite ways to unwind away from the cricket pitch. I am looking forward to working with the Prime Video team as an official brand ambassador.”
