Bruce McAvaney gathers the team in Seven’s new AFL campaign – Seven unveils 2026 AFL campaign.

With the 2026 AFL Premiership Season set to kick off next week, the Seven Network today launched its new on-air AFL campaign, a light-hearted look at how to “sell” the biggest season of footy yet.

Starring iconic caller and Seven broadcaster Bruce McAvaney as the Network’s Head of Sport, the campaign sees Bruce gather Seven’s commentary heavyweights to workshop the ultimate way to launch the season on Seven and 7plus Sport.

Joining him are Brian Taylor, Kane Cornes, Abbey Holmes, Nick Riewoldt, Matthew Richardson, Jason Richardson and 7NEWS Chief Football Reporter Mitch Cleary, each bringing their own take on what makes footy fans tick.
