Neagley Premiere Date Revealed by Prime Video – The Neagley premiere date is now locked, with Prime Video confirming the new action series will debut on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
The series expands the world of Reacher and stars Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, the fan-favourite character from Lee Child’s novels and the hit Prime Video series.
Prime Video has also released first-look images from the highly anticipated debut season.
Neagley expands the world of Reacher
Neagley follows Frances Neagley, a private investigator in Chicago and former military protege of Jack Reacher. The character served with Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.
When Neagley discovers that a beloved friend from her past has died in a suspicious accident, she becomes determined to find the truth. As a result, she draws on everything she learned from Reacher and her years with the 110th Special Investigators.
However, her search for justice soon places her on a dangerous path. Along the way, Neagley uncovers a menacing evil and faces a mystery filled with unexpected twists.
The series will launch with all eight episodes on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, on Prime Video.
Reacher season four leads into Neagley
Before Neagley arrives, Reacher will return for its fourth season.
Reacher season four premieres with three episodes on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. New episodes will then drop weekly until the season finale on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
The finale will lead directly into the debut of Neagley, with Prime Video releasing all eight episodes of the new series on the same day.
Cast and creative team
Maria Sten leads the series as Frances Neagley.
The ensemble cast also includes Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.
Alan Ritchson will also guest star as Jack Reacher.
Lee Child’s novels introduced the character of Frances Neagley, while Prime Video’s Reacher series helped make her a screen favourite. Now, the new spin-off gives Neagley her own mystery and a larger place in the franchise.
Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton created the series and serve as executive producers and co-showrunners. Santora’s credits include Reacher, Prison Break and FUBAR, while Wootton’s credits include Scorpion and The Endgame.
Santora and Wootton executive produce alongside Lee Child, Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs and Lisa Kussner. Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid and Niko Fernandez oversee the project for Paramount Television Studios.
Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios produce the series.
The Neagley premiere date is Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with all eight episodes streaming globally on Prime Video
