Paramount+ Renews Dutton Ranch For Season Two After Record-Breaking Debut — Paramount+ has officially renewed its smash-hit original series Dutton Ranch for a second season after the series became the biggest original series launch in the streaming service’s history.
Starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, the Yellowstone spin-off has proven to be an immediate global success, attracting an impressive 12.9 million viewers worldwide within seven days of its premiere on 15 May.
The series also generated huge engagement online, amassing 99 million video views and more than two million interactions across social media in its first three days, making it the number one Paramount+ premiere across the platform’s owned social channels.
Record-Breaking Success
Jane Wiseman, Head of Originals for Paramount+, said the success of the series highlighted the enduring popularity of fan-favourite characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler.
“Beth and Rip are among the most iconic duos in television history and we are thrilled to bring a whole new world to life with Dutton Ranch for our subscribers around the world,” Wiseman said.
“We’re also incredibly grateful to our partners, including the teams at Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, for bringing this new series to life with such grit, heart and authenticity.”

What Is Dutton Ranch About?
Season one follows Beth and Rip as they attempt to build a new life together away from Montana. However, their fresh start quickly becomes complicated when they find themselves facing a ruthless rival ranch and dangerous new enemies in South Texas.
According to the official synopsis, blood runs deeper than water, forgiveness is hard to come by and survival comes at a steep cost.
The series also stars Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, alongside Academy Award nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening.
Yellowstone Universe Continues To Expand
Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the nine-episode first season is based on characters created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.
Executive producer and showrunner Chad Feehan leads the series, with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser also serving as executive producers alongside a large creative team behind the Yellowstone franchise.
The season one finale of Dutton Ranch will stream on Friday, 3 July, exclusively on Paramount+.
Season two will join an expanding slate of Paramount+ originals, including The Madison, Marshals: A Yellowstone Story, Landman Season Two, Last King of The Cross Season Two, Dexter: Resurrection, Lioness Season Three and Ghosts Australia.
