Yesterday the doom and gloom of Wednesday Island kicked off yesterday at Cockatoo Island / Wereamah as Gwendoline Christie shocked fans with a grave revelation, the resurrection of her character Larissa Weems in the upcoming part two of Wednesday S2. She made a surprise appearance at Outcast Assembly which also saw Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Executive Producer and Director Tim Burton and series Creators and Showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar touch down in Sydney.
The Outcast Assembly kicks off a multi-day Sydney stop for press and creators across Asia, on Wednesday’s Global Doom Tour which will culminate in a shadowy fan experience on Saturday, August 16. Expect gothic wit, twisted mysteries, and deadpan mischief as Cockatoo Island / Wareamah is reborn in the image of the most deliciously dark series. A festival to die for.
