Jay Kelly on Netflix date announcement – Noah Baumbach is writing and directing a new movie, and he’s bringing along a few famous friends. The Oscar-nominated filmmaker is teaming up with George Clooney and Adam Sandler for Jay Kelly, a new, heartbreaking comedy.
Baumbach previously wrote and directed The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected), Marriage Story, and White Noise for Netflix; his prior work includes The Squid and the Whale, Greenberg, Margot at the Wedding, Frances Ha, and Mistress America. Jay Kelly is co-written by actor Emily Mortimer (who previously wrote episodes of Doll & Em and The Pursuit of Love and will also appear in the film) and produced by David Heyman and Amy Pascal.
