Hayu’s Be Cool Pool Party helps festivalgoers chill out and feel Chic C’est La Vie – Hayu, the all-reality streaming service, had Mighty Hoopla festivalgoers feelin’ Jovani at Bondi Beach on Saturday, with an immersive, fan-focused activation, enjoyed by reality TV fans and music lovers alike.
As the home of The Real Housewives and official sponsor of Mighty Hoopla, Hayu brought its signature reality flair to the event with Hayu’s Be Cool Pool Party (without the pool), a tongue-in-cheek homage to Mighty Hoopla performer and former star of The Real Housewives of New York City Countess Luann de Lesseps.
Designed to help festivalgoers chill out, literally and figuratively, Hayu’s activation was inspired by Countess Luann’s iconic line, “Be cool, don’t be all like uncool” delivering the ultimate pool party… without the pool. From a faux pool photo op, cool-down mist moment, glitter station inspired by fan-favourite Hayu shows, and interactive prize wheel, guest could capture, share and sparkle, interacting with Hayu in a fun and immersive way. Because at Mighty Hoopla, being a little bit extra is the coolest thing you can be!
The activation also included a dedicated Hayu VIP zone, offering some of Australia’s most influential stars a prime view of the main stage and an elevated festival experience, proving once again that when it comes to reality royalty, Hayu knows how to roll out the pink carpet.
Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most iconic beaches, Mighty Hoopla delivered pop, pride, and personality, where Countess Luann made her Australian festival debut bringing her signature blend of glamour, camp and confidence to the Bondi stage in a show-stopping set which included her most iconic songs, Money Can’t Buy You Class and Chic C’est La Vie. The performance was a major highlight of Mighty Hoopla’s first-ever Australian edition, headlined by Kesha and featuring an all-star lineup including Delta Goodrem and Jessica Mauboy.
For reality fans who couldn’t make it to Mighty Hoopla, Hayu has plenty more to look forward to, with Hayu FanFest landing in Sydney on August 15, 2026. Set to be an unmissable, in-person reality TV experience, Hayu FanFest will bring together the cast of its most iconic series for on-stage panels, interviews, meet-and-greets, and photo opportunities, alongside immersive activations and exclusive merchandise, giving Australian audiences the chance to get closer than ever to the stars and shows they love. Further information – including talent, location, ticketing and agenda – will be shared in the coming months at fanfest.hayu.com.
