Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger streams on Disney+ with unseen reunion footage – The Oasis reunion documentary is heading to Disney+ in Australia from 9 October, giving local fans a streaming release with material not seen in cinemas.
The Hulu Original film follows Liam and Noel Gallagher through the Oasis Live ’25 tour. Disney+ will add unseen footage from their joint interview, along with full performances of Wonderwall and Slide Away.
Footage of D’You Know What I Mean? and Half The World Away will also be shown for the first time. For Australian viewers, the release turns the streaming edition into an expanded account of one of 2025’s biggest music reunions.

Unseen Liam and Noel Gallagher material joins Disney+
The documentary includes the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel Gallagher in more than 20 years. Its access extends from rehearsals and backstage preparations to the live performances that powered the sold-out world tour.
The additional Disney+ footage broadens that record. Fans will see more from the brothers’ joint interview, while the four featured songs expand the film’s view of the reunion shows.
Angela Jain, Head of Content at Disney+ EMEA, said the streaming release would bring the film to a wider audience.
“The great wait is over…as we now bring Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger to as many people as possible through Disney+, and to be doing it with exclusive unseen footage too, is so exciting for fans.”
Jain described the Oasis reunion as a defining recent cultural moment. She said the documentary had connected with audiences by capturing both the band’s return and the enduring power of its music.
How the documentary captures Oasis Live ’25
Writer and creator Steven Knight has shaped the film as an uplifting account of the comeback. Directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace follow the tour from its preparation through to the stage, while also keeping the fans’ experience in view.
The result examines more than the mechanics of putting Oasis back together. It considers why the reunion carried such emotional weight and what the band’s songs continue to mean across different generations.
Disney says the Magna Studios production became the highest-grossing documentary feature of the year at the UK and Ireland box office earlier in September. At the time of the announcement, it held a 97 per cent critics score and a 98 per cent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Sam Bridger, whose credits include Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now and Meet Me in the Bathroom, produced the documentary with Guy Heeley. Heeley’s credits include Locke and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
The executive producers are Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Davud Karbassioun, Rob Stringer, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Thomas Benski, Isabel Davis and Tim O’Shea.
Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers lead the audio team. Haris Zambarloukos is cinematographer, while George Cragg and Martina Zamolo are the editors. Sean Doyle, Vice President of Unscripted Content for Disney+ EMEA, commissioned the film.
