Dune: Prophecy on Binge stars attend Australian premiere – To celebrate the premiere of new drama series, Dune: Prophecy, Australian stars Josh Heuston (Heartbreak High) and Brendan Cowell (The Twelve, Game of Thrones, Plum), were joined by a mix of celebrities and personalities along with members of industry at the Australian screening event tonight (Wednesday 13 November) in Sydney.
Australian media personality Danny Clayton hosted an immersive Dune-inspired experience at Hoyts EQ, where BINGE transported guests into the universe of Dune: Prophecy. Attendees had the unique opportunity to hear from both Josh and Brendan before being among the first in the world to watch the premiere episode, ahead of its global debut Monday 18 November on BINGE.
From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. Dune: Prophecy is inspired by the novel ‘SISTERHOOD OF DUNE,’ written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
The series features Australian stars Travis Fimmel, Josh Heuston, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Yerin Ha and Brendan Cowell.
The cast also includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, and Emma Canning.
