Atomic on Binge official trailer – BINGE today released the official trailer for ATOMIC, an exhilarating new action-adventure series premiering August 28 on BINGE.
The series will launch with a double episode drop, followed by new episodes weekly at 11:00am AEST.
Starring Alfie Allen (SAS: Rogue Heroes, Game of Thrones), Shazad Latif (Star Trek: Discovery, What’s Love Got To Do With It) and Samira Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale, Orange is the New Black), ATOMIC, is an adrenaline-charged series that throws two unlikely characters into the unexpected journey of a lifetime.
Free-spirited drug smuggler Max (Allen) and enigmatic outsider JJ (Latif) form an unlikely friendship when they’re thrust into a chaotic, high-stakes mission they never signed up for – to traffic highly enriched uranium across North Africa and the Middle East, pursued by the CIA, MI6, and other global forces.
Leading the CIA’s pursuit is scientist and Non-Official Cover (NOC) officer Cassie Elliott (Wiley), who believes Max and JJ are working with extremists – setting them all on a collision course where nothing is as it seems and everyone has ulterior motives.
The series also features Brian Gleesonas Mark Ellis, Franklin Virguez as Antonio Alam, Avita Lvova as Oksana Shirokova, Stuart Martinas Robert ‘Rab’ Mackintosh, Vahid Gold as Khaled Awad and Charlie Murphy as Laetitia.
Created by Gregory Burke and inspired by the non-fiction book ‘The Atomic Bazaar’ by Vanity Fair journalist William Langewiesche, the Sky Original series ATOMIC is produced by Pulse Films, a VICE Studios company, in association with Sky Studios.
