Ted Lasso season four trailer returns Jason Sudeikis to Richmond – Apple TV has released the official trailer for season four of Ted Lasso, with Jason Sudeikis back as the beloved coach returns to AFC Richmond.
The 10-episode season premieres globally on Wednesday, 5 August on Apple TV, with new episodes released weekly through Wednesday, 7 October.
For Australian Apple TV viewers, Ted Lasso remains one of the platform’s biggest global titles. Season four also gives the series a fresh sports angle, with Ted coaching Richmond’s second-division women’s football team.
Back to Richmond
In season four, Ted returns to Richmond and takes on his toughest challenge yet. He is coaching a women’s football team in the second division, while the club and its familiar characters navigate a new chapter.
The returning cast includes Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift.
New cast members include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.
A major Apple TV return
Ted Lasso has been one of Apple TV’s most recognisable series, building a global audience and collecting major awards across its first three seasons.
The new trailer positions season four as both a return and a reset, moving the story into women’s football while keeping Richmond at the centre of the series.
