Stan Sport strengthens tennis portfolio with addition of WTA tour – Stan, Australia’s leading local streaming service, today announced that the WTA Tour is coming to Stan Sport.

In a move that significantly bolsters its premium tennis offering, Stan Sport will now broadcast every WTA tournament from 250-level events to the WTA 500 and WTA 1000s, as well as every match of the WTA Finals. This comprehensive coverage will sit alongside Stan Sport’s existing broadcast of all four Grand Slam tournaments, offering fans an unparalleled destination for women’s professional tennis.

The action on Stan Sport kicks off with live and on-demand coverage of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells on 7 March, capturing the high-stakes action of the second round as the world’s top seeds enter the draw.

Amanda Laing, Managing Director, Streaming and Broadcast, Nine, said:

“Our commitment to premium sport is defined by the calibre of the events we broadcast, and the WTA Tour is a vital addition to our market-leading portfolio. By securing these rights, Stan Sport continues to cement its position as a leading destination for world-class women’s sport in Australia.

Integrating the WTA alongside our extensive football and rugby lineup, creates a dedicated home for the world’s most formidable female athletes. This ensures our audience has a definitive viewing experience that matches the intensity and unparalleled skill of the professional game.”

The WTA Tour showcases the world’s elite on iconic global stages, with Stan Sport delivering viewers the thrilling action from marquee 1000-level events in Miami, Madrid, Rome, and Beijing. Fans will have front-row seats to follow the heavyweights of the women’s game, led by World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and reigning AO 2026 champion Elena Rybakina. The Tour also features global superstars Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, alongside defending Indian Wells champion Mirra Andreeva and top-ten contenders like Jessica Pegula and Amanda Anisimova.

The addition of the WTA Tour ensures that Australian fans can follow the journey of the nation’s top talent year round on Stan Sport. This includes coverage of Australia’s current number 1, Maya Joint, who impressed at AO 2026 and former top 10 player Daria Kasatkina. Viewers will also be able to track the progress of established stars and rising contenders such as Ajla Tomljanovic, Daria Saville, Olivia Gadecki, and Kimberly Birrell as they compete on the global stage.

The season will culminate in the WTA Finals this November. Bringing together the top eight singles players and doubles teams in the world, the event serves as the grand finale of the professional circuit. Stan Sport will broadcast every match of this prestigious year-end championship, where the world’s best compete in a high-intensity format for the Billie Jean King Trophy.

This acquisition, made possible via a sub-licensing agreement with beIN SPORTS, reaffirms Stan Sport’s commitment to delivering the best of women’s sport to Australian audiences, providing a single destination for fans to watch the world’s best players compete in over 50 tournaments annually.

John Armitage, Country Manager, beIN SPORTS ANZ, said:

“Expanding the reach of the WTA Tour in Australia is an important step in giving women’s tennis greater prominence across more screens and more households. Through this sub-licensing partnership with Stan Sport, we’re delighted to broaden access to the sport and ensure fans across Australia can follow the incredible depth of talent and compelling stories on the WTA Tour.”

The WTA Tour joins an impressive lineup of world-class women’s content on Stan Sport, including Grand Slam tennis, WSL, Rugby World Cup, Super W and the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.
