Tennis fans will be able to stream every ball of every match throughout Wimbledon via ESPN on Disney+, with comprehensive daily coverage of the biggest matches also on the ESPN channels via Sky NZ and Sky Sports Now.
The Championships 2025 Wimbledon tournament sees Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejcikova looking to defend their titles, when the 138th edition begins on June 30th at The All-England Lawn Tennis Club.
In the men’s singles all eyes will fall on stars Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner after the pair produced an epic performance in the final of the French Open.
Alcaraz prevailed at Roland Garos and will hope to defend his Wimbledon crown against the Italian superstar Sinner, as the Spainard eyes a third straight Men’s championship at the All-England Lawn Tennis Club.
Novak Djokovic is a seven-time Wimbledon champion and will launch his bid to claim a record tying eighth title.
Djokovic has been a finalist in the last two Wimbledon tournaments, falling to Carlos Alcaraz on each occasion.
Jack Draper looms as a name who could make a run at the Grand Slam, having achieved some major milestones in the first half of 2025.
He has ascended to number four in the world following a maiden ATP Masters 1000 title and appearance in the Madrid Masters final as well.
The women’s draw will be dominated by the top trio of Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff who have commanded the Grand Slam schedule in recent years.
Despite their success, the three have been denied when it has come to Wimbledon though, as others have claimed the title with Elena Rybakina (2022), Marketa Vonrousova (2023) and Barbora Krejcikova (2024) triumphing.
New Zealand’s Lulu Sun enters the tournament with renewed confidence, claiming a major scalp in the lead-up, defeating top seed and world number 16 Dara Kasatkina at the Eastbourne event.
Sun went to the Round of 16 at The Championships’ in 2024 and will hope to find the form shown at the All-England Lawn Tennis Club last year, despite being handed a difficult draw in the tournament.
ESPN’s coverage will include some of the biggest names in world tennis.

13.
