JOHANNA + CHARLIE – FLAVOURS OF VANCOUVER

Vancouver, Canada is known for being on the edge of the great outdoors, its beautiful gardens and its food culture. So, tonight, Johanna and Charlie take you on a tour of discovery to tickle the tastebuds. The best place to do that is the Granville Island Public Market. From artisan breads, cheeses and Donuts to more local fare like Canadian game meats, this market has everything you could possibly hope for. And what artisan market in Canada would be complete without a selection of the finest maple syrups?

ADAM – TWO LEGS ARE BETTER THAN FOUR

Whether you’re working from home, doing homework or you just need a place to do some life admin, then Adam’s going to build a stylish and practical desk for you. But the desk isn’t just trendy, it’s compact enough for smaller spaces. With only a few pieces of off-the-shelf timber panels and a couple of tools, this project is great for the budding DIYer.

ADAM – PHONE HOLDER KEY RING

You’re on a lunch break and you want to watch a video on your phone, but it just won’t stand up on its own and you can’t eat that sandwich and hold the phone at the same time. Well, this weekend you can easily build yourself a portable phone holder with just one small piece of timber and three cuts. Problem solved!

There are some tricks to getting a really tasty and sticky southern style glaze but with Ed’s help you’ll be elevating the chicken at your next party. But this chicken needs a side salad, so Ed will help you put together something a little different from the run of the mill garden salad. This dish has big promise and it delivers.

MELISSA – FABULOUS FIELDS OF LOVELY LAVENDER

The love affair with lavender is long-lived and continues in full swing here at Bridestowe Lavender Estate in the North-East of Tasmania. Instantly recognisable by fragrance and sight, lavender is one of the most popular flowering shrubs. And seeing the rolling hills of it here at this farm, it’s easy to understand why. Melissa takes a tour of the farm to show you all things lavender from the never-ending fields to the factory to discover how lavender oil is made. But after learning so much, Melissa couldn’t leave without giving you a few tips to growing the best lavender at home.

JULIET – FAUX STONE BOWLS

Stone bowls are on trend right now, but they can get expensive. Avoid the high prices as Juliet shows how to make some super easy stone-look Pedestal Bowls to add some high-end style. This project only needs a couple of plastic bowls, tumblers and plates, which you’ve probably already got filling up a cupboard.
