50 Days to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 on Channel 9 – In 50 days, the world will turn its eyes to Northern Italy as the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 begin – and Australians will be able to experience every moment, on every screen, through the full power of Nine’s ecosystem: 9Network, 9Now and Stan Sport.

As Australia’s home of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Nine will deliver its most comprehensive coverage yet – spanning broadcast and streaming across all devices to unite the nation for one of sport’s greatest global events.

Amanda Laing, Managing Director, Streaming & Broadcast, Nine, said:

“Milano Cortina 2026 will showcase the full power of Nine’s ecosystem – with Stan Sport delivering every minute of every sport, live and on demand, no matter which country you support, including all medal moments in stunning 4K Ultra HD. The 9Network will bring the biggest moments for our Aussie athletes live and free to the nation, while 9Now ensures audiences can relive those moments anytime with on-demand access and discovery. Together, we’re giving Australians the freedom to experience the Winter Olympics their way.”

From the alpine peaks of Livigno to the ice rinks of Milan, Nine will unite Australia around the magic of the Games – celebrating the athletes, stories, and rivalries that define the Winter Olympics.

With coverage beginning on February 4 with the Let The Games Begin! preview show, the power of the Nine Group will be on full display when the Opening Ceremony on February 7 (AEDT) signals the start of 16 days of adrenaline-filled action.

9NETWORK: AUSTRALIA’S FRONT ROW SEAT

With Australia fielding a team of nearly 60 athletes, the nation’s medal hopes have never been higher. As Aussies including freestyle skier Jakara Anthony and snowboarder Scotty James battle it out for Olympic glory, the 9Network will be right beside them.

Leading the 9Network’s live and free coverage, Ally Langdon and James Bracey will host from Nine’s alpine studio in Livigno, alongside Leila McKinnon and Todd Woodbridge. In Sydney, Sylvia Jeffreys and Dylan Alcott will anchor mornings, supported by 9News reporting across Livigno, Milan and Cortina. Audiences can expect HD broadcast quality across 9HD and 9GemHD, with rich storytelling focused on Australian athletes, rivalries and medal moments.

9NOW: STREAM EVERY 9NETWORK MOMENT, LIVE AND ON DEMAND

Offering a unified and seamless viewing experience, 9Now will stream every 9Network moment live and on demand.

Every morning, 9Now will be the destination for green-and-gold supporters, with all the Aussie moments and highlights from overnight events. Viewers will be able to stream key moments anytime via replays, highlights and 9Now Stories, or catch up with Milan Encore, a daily highlights show produced by the Wide World of Sports team – capturing all the action and moments from each day.

STAN SPORT: THE COMPLETE OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE

Stan Sport will be the premium destination for the most complete Winter Olympics coverage ever delivered in Australia – featuring every sport and every feed live and on demand, with every medal event in 4K Ultra HD.

With coverage spanning all 16 disciplines and 116 medal events, fans can choose from 15 exclusive individual sport channels, plus two dedicated feature and news channels offering continuous updates, analysis and highlights.

Returning after its success at Paris 2024, Stan Sport will also feature exclusive international broadcast feeds – including Eurosport’s two Italian channels and UK channel courtesy of Warner Brothers Discovery, plus live coverage from Sky New Zealand – giving fans even greater access to global commentary and perspective.

Stan Sport will simulcast 9Network’s coverage alongside its dedicated sport feeds, with expanded VOD functionality offering full-length replays, highlights, and multi-feed coverage for deeper context and international depth.

Together, the three platforms create a layered viewing experience designed for every kind of fan:
  • 9Network captures the big, national moments – live and free.
  • 9Now offers flexible live and on-demand access for Aussie stories.
  • Stan Sport delivers total access and international depth, connecting audiences to every sport, every athlete, and every medal moment in 4K Ultra HD.

Nine’s combined coverage balances a distinctly Australian lens with a global perspective – celebrating homegrown heroes while showcasing the world’s best.

Following the Winter Olympics, Nine will continue as the exclusive broadcaster of the Paralympic Winter Games (6–15 March), ensuring audiences can follow Australia’s Paralympians live and on demand across Nine’s platforms.

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 – Live and Free on 9Network, Streamed on 9Now, and Every Sport – with Every Medal Moment in 4K Ultra HD on Stan Sport.
