DR: Tommy, Todd Payten’s future it still remains uncertain without a contract beyond next year talk to us about your opinion as far as supporting his extension and whether you’d be backing in regards to him sticking around at the Cowboys.
TD: Yeah I certainly do. Toddy was the coach that brought me up here to the club and I thought the faith and the belief that he showed in me at the start of my journey coming up here and yeah he’s been a big influence on my career and my journey in the NRL. I think he’s a great coach and I know over the years and we’ve had a few inconsistent performances but I just think he’s got so much belief and passion for the club and about this group. I’m in full support of him extending his time up here at the Cowboys.
