What to watch this week on Kayo Sports: F1, NRLW grand final, AFLW and MotoGP – Kayo Sports has a crowded 1-7 October line-up, with Formula 1, MotoGP, two rugby league deciders, AFLW Round 8 and NBL Round 3 among the main events.
There is an important viewing distinction on grand final Sunday. Kayo lists the NRLW Grand Final live, but its Sydney Roosters-Newcastle Knights NRL Grand Final coverage is a 9:30pm replay with the Fox League call. The alert does not list a live stream of the men’s decider on Kayo. UFC and bare-knuckle cards are also separate pay-per-view rentals, rather than standard subscription fixtures.
All times below are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), the local time in Sydney for this week. Kayo says its Fox Sports Formula 1 and MotoGP coverage is live and ad-break free. AFLW matches are ad-break free during play, while NBL games appear via ESPN or Fox Sports when ESPN has a scheduling conflict.
Formula 1: Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia
The Bahrain Grand Prix name comes with an unusual venue this year: Formula 1 says the 2026 race is being staged at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit. Kayo’s schedule builds to Sunday’s race, with practice and qualifying across Friday and Saturday.

NRL Grand Final weekend and the NRLW decider
Fox League’s Saturday coverage begins with four Australia-Papua New Guinea fixtures. Sunday’s live Kayo schedule includes the State Championship and NRLW Grand Final before the men’s Grand Final replay.

MotoGP, cricket and golf
The Japanese MotoGP weekend on Fox Sports and Kayo has practice on Friday, qualifying and a sprint on Saturday, then Sunday’s race. The schedule lists Friday practice from 11:35am and 3:50pm. Saturday has practice from 11:00am, qualifying from 11:45am and the sprint from 3:30pm. Sunday’s warm-up starts at 11:35am, with race coverage from 3:15pm.
Cricket brings India v West Indies in a one-day international from 6:20pm on Saturday 3 October. A T20 international between the sides follows from 12:20am on Wednesday 7 October. Both are listed as live and exclusive on Fox Sports via Kayo.
Golf coverage of the Bank of Utah Championship begins at 7:00am on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October. Round three starts at 8:00am on Sunday 4 October, and the final round at 8:00am on Monday 5 October.
