Magic Millions set to sparkle on Seven this Saturday – Live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport this Saturday.
Australia’s glittering Magic Millions Raceday will take centre stage on the Seven Network this Saturday, 11 January for summer racing’s richest day, with all the live and free thoroughbred racing action and trackside glamour from the Gold Coast Turf Club.
The live coverage begins at 1.00pm AEDT on Channel 7, 7two and 7plus and will be led by horse racing’s number one team.
Seven’s Magic Millions commentary team includes Hamish McLachlan, Emma Freedman, Jason Richardson, Lizzie Jelfs and Daniel MacPherson, while Kate Waterhouse will cover all the trackside fashion and fun from the dazzling event on broadcast and the 7horseracing and 7racingstyle social media channels.
The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday is one of Australia’s most prestigious and lucrative racedays, now boasting $14.5 million in prizemoney across 10 races. The pinnacle of the Queensland Summer Racing Carnival, this iconic event is headlined by two feature races, the $3 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.
This year’s 2YO Classic is shaping up to be a wide-open contest, with leading contenders Invincible Woman, Gallo Nero and Icarian Dream all prominent in the market.
Another highlight is the $3 million Magic Millions Guineas for three-year-olds, headlined by Ciaron Maher’s progressive filly Snitzanova.
Magic Millions Raceday is the culmination of a huge fortnight on the Gold Coast with live coverage of the Magic Millions yearling sales available live and free on 7plus until tonight, which follows the twilight Magic Millions Gold raceday that kicked off the festivities last week.
In Seven’s first telecast of the event, the Magic Millions Gold broadcast reached over 1.35 million people across Seven and 7plus Sport.
Following The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday, sports fans can strap themselves in for an epic week of sport on Seven, headlined by the 2025 Women’s Ashes Series, which kicks off at 10.00am AEDT this Sunday, 12 January on Seven and 7plus Sport.
Also on the way is the 2025 Santos Tour Down Under, the NFL Playoffs, and the final week of the Big Bash League regular season before an epic Finals run, all live and free on Seven and 7plus.
Seven has long been the undisputed leader in racing broadcasting and continues that rich tradition in 2025.
