Magic Millions glitters on the Gold Coast on Seven and 7plus – Thoroughbred racing’s richest week returns to Seven.
The Seven Network will welcome back the iconic TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival across the next two weekends, with all the thoroughbred racing action and trackside glamour from the picturesque Gold Coast Turf Club live and free on Seven, 7two and 7plus Sport.
Seven’s coverage of the carnival kicks off tomorrow, with afternoon racing from Flemington and Wyong at 12.00pm AEDT on Seven and 7plus Sport, before heading to the Gold Coast for racing under lights at the 2026 Magic Millions Gold Raceday from 7.00pm AEDT.
Then, on Saturday 17 January, Seven’s team will deliver every nail-biting moment of Queensland’s biggest day on turf, the TAB Magic Millions Raceday at Aquis Park from 1.00pm AEDT on Seven and 7plus Sport.
Seven’s Magic Millions Carnival coverage will be led by thoroughbred racing’s #1 commentary team, including Emma Freedman, Hamish McLachlan, Jason Richardson, Lizzie Jelfs, Katelyn McDonald and Daniel MacPherson, while Kate Waterhouse will cover all the trackside fashion, glamour and big names in attendance.
In an exciting announcement for racing fans, global racing voice Britney Eurton will also join Seven’s coverage of the carnival in her first visit to Australia.
The twilight meeting takes place the week before the penultimate race day, with more than $7.3 million in prizemoney and features the running of the $3 million TAB Magic Millions Sunlight (3YO) slot race under lights, with Grafterburners, Akaysha & Ice Kool some of the top fancies.
The meeting also showcases the $1.5 million Magic Millions QTIS Open and the $500,000 Magic Millions The Wave over a 10-race card, of which six races are exclusively for horses nominated to the Magic Millions Race Series.
The TAB Magic Millions Raceday at Aquis Park on Saturday 17 January, features over $13.25 million in prizemoney across 10 races. The program is highlighted by two feature events: the $3 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the and the $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.
Last year won by O’Ole, the 2YO Classic includes an impressive field this year led by the Bjorn Baker-trained Warwoventhe, while Zip Lock, Knightsbridge and the Ciaron Maher pair of Tornado Valley and Unit Five are also some of the other top chances to cross the post first.
The $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas is always an exciting spectacle, with the top hope being dominant Vo Rogue Stakes winner Ninja carrying the hopes of thousands of micro share owners.
Following the TAB Magic Millions Raceday, sport fans can follow all the action of the Santos Tour Down Under, NFL Playoffs and the Big Bash League on Seven and 7plus Sport, in what promises to be a jam-packed summer of sport on Seven.
