Paramount+ today announced the highly anticipated return of The Winter Festival of Football, the premier destination for world-class international football in Australia and New Zealand.
Broadcasting exclusively on Paramount+, the 2026 festival delivers an extraordinary lineup of matches across three iconic tournaments, headlined by the prestigious Sydney Super Cup.
From late July through mid-August 2026, football fans across the region can witness some of the world’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Manchester City, Inter Milan and Juventus FC, compete across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong in a celebration of the beautiful game that also shines a spotlight on women’s football.

The jewel in the crown of The Winter Festival of Football, the Sydney Super Cup brings Premier League heavyweights Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC to Sydney’s iconic stadiums to face both local heroes and each other.
The tournament opens with Chelsea taking on the Western Sydney Wanderers at Accor Stadium on 28 July, before Tottenham battle Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium on 29 July. The headline clash, Chelsea FC v Tottenham Hotspur FC, takes centre stage at Accor Stadium on 1 August.
The Sydney Super Cup also celebrates women’s football in a landmark fixture: Chelsea Women’s vs A-League All Stars Women at Allianz Stadium on 12 August, a fitting finale to the festival and a statement of intent for the women’s game in this country.
The Winter Festival of Football extends beyond Sydney with two further world-class events. The Hong Kong Football Festival at the state-of-the-art Kai Tak Sports Park sees Manchester City face Inter Milan on 1 August, followed by Chelsea FC against Juventus FC on 5 August, a mouthwatering contest between two of European football’s most storied clubs.
Across the Tasman, the NZ International Football Festival at the iconic Eden Park, Auckland, opens The Winter Festival with Tottenham Hotspur FC taking on Auckland FC on 26 July, and concludes with a historic women’s match, Chelsea Women’s versus Auckland FC Women, on 8 August.
The festival also extends to Southeast Asia, with Chelsea FC travelling to Indonesia to face Juventus FC at GBK Stadium in Jakarta on 8 August.
