CommBank Matildas And CommBank Socceroos Take Centre Stage This Weekend Across Network 10 And Paramount+ – A huge weekend of international football awaits across Network 10 and Paramount+, with the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos both in action as they continue preparations for major tournaments on the global stage.
The weekend begins on Saturday night when the CommBank Matildas host Mexico at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle in the opening match of a two-game international series.
Australian fans will be treated to the return of some of the nation’s biggest football stars, with Mary Fowler, Sam Kerr, Steph Catley and Ellie Carpenter all set to ignite in front of a home crowd. Carpenter is also primed to reach a significant milestone, with the Chelsea FC Women defender poised to earn her 100th cap for the CommBank Matildas.
The fixture marks an important step in Australia’s preparations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, with Mexico providing a valuable international test as both nations begin building towards the tournament.
