Combat king Francis Ngannou returns to the cage in epic title fight pay per view on Stan – Brace for impact – the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ is back, as the former undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou returns to the cage for the first time in nearly three years to face Renan Ferreira in one of the biggest MMA events of the year, with three world titles on the line.
Battle of the Giants is a must-see PFL ‘Super Fights’ Pay-Per-View, live and exclusive on Stan on Sunday, October 20.
‘The Predator’ is an apt moniker for Ngannou [17-3], who after rampaging his way through the UFC roster and knocking out one of the greatest heavyweights of all time in Stipe Miocic, claimed the UFC heavyweight title before departing the company with the belt in dramatic scenes.
Following some hard fought battles against global boxing superstars Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to challenge himself, the uncrowned heavyweight king now returns to the cage where he faces a huge test in the form of destructive Brazilian Renan ‘Problema’ Ferreira [13-3].
Standing 6’8, Ferreira is more than a match for Ngannou’s imposing height and reach, having put it to good use when he conquered the 2023 PFL heavyweight season.
With the PFL title and $1 million USD prize money in his pocket, the next destination is a showdown with Ngannou. The two titans went toe-to-toe at a press conference last month, with boxing and social media superstar Jake Paul in attendance to witness the confrontation first hand.
Paul himself has also signed to the Professional Fighters League’s Super Fights division, with a future fight on the horizon with the promotion.

In the co-main event, the greatest female MMA fighter of all time will make her return in one of the biggest women’s MMA fights in history, as Brazilian icon Cris ‘Cyborg’ [27-2] takes on fellow countrywoman Larissa Pacheco for a Super Fights title.
Cyborg is a legendary figure in MMA, with 27 victories and 21 finishes to her name. She has played a pivotal role in putting women’s MMA on the map, having claimed world titles in UFC, Invicta, Strikeforce, and is the reigning Bellator champion.
The phenom faces one of the toughest tests of her career in Pacheco, who paved a devastating path en route to the 2023 PFL Championship, handing star Kayla Harrison her first defeat along the way. Both women are undefeated in the past five years, making this a bout not to be missed.

Also announced for the main card, the undefeated British Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen [15-0] defends his title against Fabian Edwards.
Edwards is Eblen’s longtime rival, and clear-cut number one contender for the Bellator belt in a rematch of their hard-hitting affair from a year ago.
One of Bellator’s biggest global stars, ‘The Mercenary’ AJ McKee [22-1] will also feature on the card, taking on rising star Paul ‘Bad News’ Hughes [12-1] in a thrilling lightweight feature bout, with big ramifications for both on the horizon.
More unmissable fights will be announced for PFL: Battle of the Giants soon.
