Alpha Boxing brings Hussain v Brubaker card to ESPN on Disney+ – Alpha Boxing will stream one of Australia’s major 2026 boxing cards live and exclusive on ESPN on Disney+ across Australia and New Zealand.
The event begins at 7pm AEST on Wednesday, September 2, with Benjamin Hussain and Jack Brubaker headlining the card for the IBO International Middleweight Title.
For Australian sports viewers, the event is another significant live sports play for Disney+, using ESPN to bring a locally driven fight card to streaming audiences.
Hussain Meets Brubaker
Hussain enters the headline bout as one of Australian boxing’s rising middleweight names. He is currently ranked fourth in Australia, behind Tim Tszyu, Nikita Tszyu and Ben Mahoney.
Brubaker, known as the Cronulla Cowboy, brings championship experience and a reputation for pressure and toughness.
The release positions the main event as a clash between youth and experience, with Hussain looking to push further towards international contention.
Title Fights And Aokuso Brothers
The co-main event will see Austin Aokuso face Saipaier Rouzi for the WBC Australasian Light Heavyweight Title.
Austin Aokuso remains undefeated, with 10 knockouts from 11 victories. He will share the card with his brother, Olympian Paulo Aokuso, who faces Dou Wang.
The card also features a WBA Interim Flyweight World Title fight, with Australia’s Linn Sandstrom taking on Britain’s Ruqsana Begum.
NRL Names Join The Card
Former rugby league stars Tony ‘T-Rex’ Williams, Ben Roberts and David ‘Wolfman’ Williams will also feature.
Tony Williams will meet Kamran Bahremand, while Ben Roberts faces David Williams in another crossover bout.
The seven-fight event will be staged at the William Inglis Hotel in Western Sydney.
