Women’s Test to round out Seven’s Summer of Cricket – Australia v India, live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport
Following a monumental summer of cricket, the 2025-26 season is set to officially conclude in spectacular fashion as Australia takes on India in the women’s day-night test from the WACA from 3.30pm AEDT tomorrow, live and free on Seven, 7mate, 7two and 7plus Sport.
After a 3-0 One Day International (ODI) series sweep and outgoing captain Alyssa Healy’s huge 158 runs in Hobart, the Aussies will be looking to continue their winning ways and assert their dominance in the one-off Test match and final match between the two teams, currently leading 8-4 in the overall series trophy and already having secured the series win.
Seven’s coverage will be steered by host Emma Freedman, with expert and play-by-play commentary from a star-studded team including former Australian men’s cricket coach Justin Langer, Lisa Sthalekar, Katey Martin, Trent Copeland, Andy Maher, Kate McCarthy, Elyse Villani and Bharat Sundaresan.
The match will commence on Friday, 6 March, from 3.30pm AEDT, with coverage to start on the remaining days from 4.00pm AEDT.
Seven Network Executive Producer, Cricket, Anna Stone said:
“It has been an unbelievable summer of cricket with the WBBL, The Ashes, the BBL and the Women’s International multi-format series against India. The day-night test in Perth feels like the perfect way to celebrate and farewell an icon of the women’s game in Alyssa Healy.
“We have had a record-breaking summer of cricket at Seven with the average total TV audience for The Ashes up 12% compared to the 2024-25 Australia v India Test, while the BBL was up 9% and the WBBL was up 28% year-on-year.
“We’re thrilled to be able to continue to bring fans the absolute best cricket coverage possible and can’t wait to see what unfolds in the final match of the summer starting Friday,” she said.
