Fox Cricket secures Australia’s Zimbabwe ODI series rights – Fox Cricket and Kayo Sports will carry every ball of Australia’s three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe live and exclusively from Harare. The opening match begins tonight at 5.30pm AEST.
The series gives Australian viewers an extra international fixture before a packed summer. It follows the Top End Test Series against Bangladesh. It also arrives before Australia meets South Africa, England, New Zealand and India.
All three matches take place at Harare Sports Club. Fox Cricket will screen the series for Foxtel customers. Meanwhile, Kayo Sports subscribers can stream every match live.
Fox Cricket executive producer Jamie Lockyer said the rights deal was important as interest builds around the Australian side.
“We know how passionate the Fox Cricket audience is about following their team, wherever they are in the world,” Lockyer said. He added that live coverage reinforced the network’s commitment to customers.
Kayo has positioned the tour within its Summer of the Century slate. Therefore, the three-match series offers a useful lead-in to Australia’s bigger international assignments later in the season.
