Milwaukee Bucks and Oklahoma City Thunder clash for NBA Cup live on ESPN – The Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder will battle it out in a huge NBA Cup Championship Game live this Wednesday on ESPN.
The bright lights of Las Vegas will set the stage for the NBA Cup finale where the Bucks and OKC will aim to lift the first piece of NBA silverware on offer this season.
The NBA Cup Championship Game is live on ESPN this Wednesday December 18 at 12.30pm AEDT.
The Milwaukee Bucks have secured their place in the NBA Cup Championship Game having eliminated the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks en route.
The Bucks lost at the Semi Final stage last season and have unfinished business in the NBA Cup.
Milwaukee proved too strong for the Hawks in the NBA Cup Semi Final, claiming a 110-102 victory.
Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo starred again with 32 points against Atlanta, supported by Damian Lillard with 25.
The star pair have combined for 58.5 points per game this season – the most by any duo in the NBA.
The Oklahoma City Thunder stand in the Bucks way in Las Vegas after a 15-point win over the Houston Rockets in the NBA Cup Semi Final.
If the Bucks are reliant on stars’ Giannis and Lillard, OKC showed their depth as Jalen Williams, Luguentz Dort, Isaiah Hartenstein and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shared the offensive load.
Gilgeous-Alexander again led all scorers with 32 points, following from his 39-point haul in the NBA Cup Quarter Final vs Dallas.
With the Los Angeles Lakers eliminated, a new NBA Cup champion will be crowned in Las Vegas, that also sees each player take home $500,000 USD for winning the NBA Cup Championship Game.
Mike Breen will provide commentary with analysts Doris Burke and Richard Jefferson and reporter Lisa Salters for the Championship Game.
ESPN’s Skubie Mageza will be courtside in Las Vegas taking Australian fans behind the scenes with social updates across ESPN platforms.
Mageza will bring interviews with players from both Milwaukee and Oklahoma City, along with ESPN analysts, plus the Hungry Jack’s Half-Time update.
Nothing But Net – Special Edition will air at 11.30am AEDT Wednesday providing comprehensive pre-game coverage, crossing live to the court in Las Vegas.
ESPN will also provide a social takeover that will take fans from the red carpet, to warm-ups and every angle of the NBA Cup Championship Game.
For the most comprehensive coverage of the NBA Cup Championship Game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the only place is ‘Your Home for Hoops’, ESPN.
